"My garden is beside my house in Palmer. I am originally from Kotzebue. 

I love sharing information about growing,  harvesting and preserving.  

My Tatta (grandpa) used an old boat to grow vegetables at our fish camp, Ivik, 30 miles north of Kotzebue. 

I use gardening as an extension of my connection to the land, to grow and harvest my own food. And I love to share with others, carrying on that value. As well as the value of teaching our future generations.  My grandkids all help weed and harvest."
